Your technology should just work. If it doesn't, that's not normal.
One monthly fee covers your computers, network, printers, and cloud services. Most problems get caught before they interrupt your day. If something does need hands-on attention, I pick up the phone. No tickets, no waiting, no surprises. I work with businesses of 5 to 30 employees.

Everything your business needs to stay online.
One monthly fee covers your day-to-day technology. Monitoring, maintenance, support, and security. No hourly billing.
Software watching your network all the time. If something goes wrong, I get an alert, usually before you notice anything.
see the toolsEvery machine backed up nightly. If a laptop gets stolen or something gets deleted, I restore your files. Restores tested quarterly so I know they actually work.
see the toolsAntivirus, DNS filtering, firewall management. Keeps malware and junk off your network.
see the toolsOne secure place for all your business passwords instead of sticky notes and shared spreadsheets.
see the toolsWindows updates, app patches, firmware. I handle it after hours so nothing interrupts your workday.
Your network, equipment, vendor contacts, and procedures, all documented and stored on your hardware. No more tribal knowledge.
see the toolsNew hire gets a login, email, and access. Someone leaves, I remove their access the same day.
Direct response for any issue that monitoring and maintenance don't catch automatically. Servers, routers, printers, Wi-Fi, line-of-business software. If it's a vendor issue, I make the call so you don't sit on hold.
Problems I solve every week.
"Our last tech person set this up and nobody knows how it works."
I document everything. When I'm done, you'll have a complete picture of your infrastructure on your own hardware.
"I don't even know if our backups are working."
I test restores quarterly. Not just "the backup ran," but "I can actually get your data back from it."
"We're paying for software licenses we probably don't need."
I audit what you're actually using and replace what I can with open source tools you own outright.
"We only hear from our IT person after something has already gone wrong."
Business-critical issues get a response within one hour, including after hours. Monitoring runs continuously, so I'm often already working on it before you notice.
"I have no idea what we actually spent on technology last year."
Flat monthly fee, same number every month. Bigger projects get a written estimate before I start. At year-end you can point to one line in your books and see exactly what technology cost.
"I got a bill and had no idea what I was being charged for."
Every minute of work is tied to a ticket in Request Tracker. Every invoice line item traces back to a real job, logged to the minute. No mystery charges.
Already have an IT provider but ready to move on?
The two most common reasons people stay with a provider they're unhappy with. Neither one is as hard to solve as it looks.
"I'm afraid to switch because they have all our passwords."
Most passwords don't need your current provider's cooperation. I help you reclaim admin access directly through the vendors. Within a week you're back in control, and everything goes into a vault you own.
"I want to switch but I don't know how messy that will be."
The first step is always an assessment, not a contract. I inventory your hardware, review what documentation exists, and tell you honestly what the transition looks like. If your current provider cooperates, things move faster. If not, it still gets done. You'll know what you're looking at before you commit.

I actually pick up the phone
You call me and I answer. No ticket queues, no call centers, no waiting days for someone to get back to you. Most issues are already on my radar before you notice them.
You deal with me directly
When you call, I pick up. Not a dispatcher, not a phone tree. I learn your setup and I keep it running. No starting over every time you need help.
Flat monthly fee
$50 to $80 per workstation, per month. A 6-person shop runs about $350/month all in. Month-to-month, no contract. See full pricing details.
You own everything
The hardware, accounts, and data are yours. No vendor lock-in, no proprietary tools only I can touch. If we part ways, your next technology person can pick up where I left off.
Every charge has a reason attached to it
All work is tracked in Request Tracker and billed to the minute. Every line item on your invoice traces back to a real job. No mystery charges.

Not included in the monthly fee:
Bigger jobs like replacing a server or setting up new workstations. Hardware costs (computers, printers, parts, supplies). Fixing problems caused by changes someone made without telling me. Cabling or electrical work. For anything outside the monthly fee, you get a written estimate before I start. No markup on hardware; you pay what I pay.
Your infrastructure, not someone else's subscription.
Most tools I deploy have no per-seat licensing fees. Professionally maintained open source software — the same tech that runs most of the internet. You own it outright.
Self-hosted, cloud, or both. Passwords in Vaultwarden on your hardware or Bitwarden cloud. Documentation in BookStack or Confluence. Your call.
I'm a pragmatist, not a zealot. Windows, Microsoft 365, your line-of-business software — I work with all of it.
What that means in practice:
All running on hardware you own, on your network, using software with no per-seat licensing fees.
Your data is yours, and it stays that way.
Security isn't an add-on. It's how I work by default.
Encrypted before it leaves the building
Backups are encrypted with AES-256 on your own hardware before they go anywhere offsite. The storage provider sees opaque blobs, not your files.
Keys where it matters
My admin access uses cryptographic keys, not shared passwords. No privileged login to steal, phish, or guess. Day-to-day user passwords live in a vault you own, not mine.
Your data is not a product
Your files, email, and business information never get harvested, sold, or fed to somebody's AI. I don't make money selling what you've trusted me with.
You can watch me work
Log into the monitoring dashboards whenever you want and look at what I'm looking at. Nothing is hidden behind a vendor portal you can't access.
What happens after you reach out.
Conversation and site visit
I come to your location, look at what you have, and talk through what's working and what isn't. You get an honest assessment and a clear quote. No obligation.
Setup and protection
I install monitoring, backups, and security on every machine. Move your passwords into a secure vault. Document your network. Most of this happens in the background without disrupting your day.
Running smoothly
Everything is monitored, backed up, and documented. From here on out, the less you hear from me, the better things are going.
Free assessment of your current setup.
I'll come look at what you have and tell you what I'd change and what's fine as is. No obligation.
No pressure, no sales pitch. I'll tell you what I think and you can decide if it makes sense.
